Coaching is an individual process in which the coach and client work together to deal with problems or limitations which the client encounters, either in work situations or personal life. It is a creative way of developing already existing qualities and revealing new ones.

Essential Somatic means that are approach integrates aspects like cognition, social existence, somatic reality and spiritual experience.

A popular term is Life Style Management that clearly expresses that coaching is not only about work issues as people often think.
The field of coaching is as wide as your life can be.

Coaching is short term guidance and is especially looking towards the (near) future from where you are at this moment.

Basic questions are : Where am I now and where do I want to go?
                              What are my qualities and which do I need to                               develop?
                              Are my goals realistic and what is my motivation?

But also:                 Am I aware of how I breath?
                             What does my body language express?
                             Does what I do resonate with my Essence?



The difference with therapy is that in coaching we already have a more or less solid base from which we look forward while therapy is more about constructing the solid base.

Therapy is integrating the past into the present.

Coacing is constructing the near future in the present.
