Therapy comes from the Greek word Therapeuein and it means, taking care of.
So Psychotherapy means taking care of your Soul and that reflects our integral approach. We work with methods that combine the way we feel, think and look at the world (Mind) with our muscular defences and breathing patrons (Body). Next to that there is an area that is more mystic, hidden and often not easy to enter consciously (Soul), here we enter the area of transpersonal psychology. Because they all influence one and another we always start working with what is visible, what is clearly present in thoughts, behaviour, body tension and the resources we have. The Biosynthesis approach.

In therapy we need to reconstruct the lost balance to feel safe and well grounded. To accomplish this we start a process of acknowledgment, of becoming aware of who we really are, including our traumas and emotional pains and exploring our resources. Basing our well-being on our Wholeness we find the strength to appreciate the many curves in the long and winding road that represents our life. In therapy we have to express who we are, not only in words and thoughts but also in a physical sense through sounds and gestures, changing our patron of breathing and the way we look into the world. Doing so we will discover that we have much more potential then we imagined possible. Therapy is initially often a tearful process of letting go, putting in the past what belongs to the past, but after a while it can become a challenge that reinforces you, changes your ideas of your place in this world and it becomes really beautiful when you get in touch with your core, the very essence of who you are at this moment. That's our final aim, the deep connection to yourself where you know that whatever happens, it's okay.
